The Carlsbad Flower Fields in California boast a rich history that dates back to the early 1920s. It all began with Luther Gage, an early settler who planted the first ranunculus seeds in the region. Frank Frazee, inspired by Gage, expanded the cultivation of these vibrant flowers, ultimately transforming the area into a floral paradise. Over the decades, the fields grew, and by the 1960s, they had become a renowned tourist attraction. Today, spanning over 50 acres, the Flower Fields showcase a dazzling array of colors each spring, drawing visitors from around the world to witness the breathtaking beauty and celebrate the enduring legacy of horticultural dedication.
